In December, members of Daxko’s 2025 YMCA Customer Advisory Board (CAB), made up of YMCA leaders nationwide, completed their 18-month term, concluding a year of collaboration and thoughtful discussions. The CAB is a meaningful way for Daxko to gain insights and feedback on the evolving needs of YMCAs to enhance the company’s product roadmap and gain insights on how to better serve the Y community.
The YMCA movement has always been strongest when leaders come together to share ideas, challenge assumptions, and build toward something bigger than any one organization. That spirit was at the heart of this YMCA Customer Advisory Board.
Over the past year, this group of YMCA leaders partnered closely with our team to shape how we listen, prioritize, and innovate. Their perspectives directly informed our product roadmap and reinforced what matters most to Ys as they serve their communities, including belonging, well-being, and long-term impact.
Those conversations helped clarify priorities and drive progress across several key areas, including:
- Accelerating delivery of dashboards and reporting
- Prioritizing fundraising partner integrations for Blackbaud, Funraise, and GoFundmePro
- Validating priorities to guide product and service roadmap considerations
- Identifying and addressing key operational challenges and staff pain points
We are deeply grateful to every CAB member for the time, thoughtfulness, and leadership they brought to the table. Their feedback went beyond feature requests or tactical input, helping ensure our technology decisions stayed grounded in real-world challenges and opportunities across the YMCA movement.
“The YMCA CAB represents what makes this movement so special, leaders who care deeply about people and progress. Their partnership has helped us build with greater clarity and purpose.”
Building on a Strong Foundation
This CAB set a high bar for what true collaboration between Daxko and YMCA leaders can look like. The conversations, insights, and relationships formed through this group will continue to influence how we work and how we support Ys moving forward.
We are proud of what this first cohort helped create and excited to continue building on that foundation in the months ahead.
We look forward to welcoming a new cohort to the Daxko YMCA CAB in February.
