Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA Selects DAXKO as Technology Partner

DAXKO announced today a new partnership with the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA to provide operations and accounting solutions to its 18 facility locations. The Tampa YMCA selected DAXKO Operations and DAXKO Accounting after a year-long technology search, citing system ease of use, reporting capabilities, and DAXKO’s commitment to the YMCA movement as primary factors in the decision.
Building on more than 120 years of service, the Tampa YMCA’s 2010 Mission is to deepen its impact in the community. Last year, the Tampa YMCA provided $4.7 million in charitable assistance, benefitting more than 36,000 families. Tampa believes its new partnership with DAXKO will help make its 2010 goals a reality.
“The Tampa YMCA continues to seek new ways to improve products and processes to serve our members as seamlessly as possible,” said Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA Controller Todd Bray. “Building relationships with our members and community leaders is vital to our organization. So helping to streamline our systems and improve our technology will greatly enhance the member time with our staff.”
With the exhaustive technology search complete, Tampa is excited to launch DAXKO Operations and DAXKO Accounting later this year. “After a comprehensive review of many software companies’ membership packages, we feel very strongly that we’ve made the right choice,” Bray said. “All of the notable products out there were considered, but DAXKO emerged as our #1 choice. We are excited to begin the implementation process.”
