YMCA of Greater Seattle Selects DAXKO as Technology Partner

DAXKO announced today a new partnership with the YMCA of Greater Seattle to provide membership, program, financial development, and financial processing services. The YMCA selected DAXKO Operations to replace its i-Series legacy system. Seattle cited DAXKO’s knowledge of the YMCA Movement, the software’s ease-of-use, and ongoing innovation as primary factors in its decision.
“DAXKO Operations will release the YMCA of Greater Seattle from the grips of green screens and provide our staff with an intuitive and contemporary user interface,” said Seattle CFO Glenn Tsugawa. “Our focus must be on developing lifelong relationships with members, not managing technology. DAXKO’s software and services are enablers, helping our staff to build strong families and communities in the greater Seattle area.”
Tsugawa, the former CFO at the YMCA of Honolulu, said many factors were considered during the rigorous two-year technology search. “We looked at everything, and one of the first things that jumped out about DAXKO was its people – their vision, values, and norms,” he said. “DAXKO’s technology provides all the tools we need to move Seattle forward – ease of use for our staff, access to centralized data, security, and scalable technology.”
A key element to the partnership between DAXKO and Seattle is DAXKO’s relationship with Microsoft. From the beginning, DAXKO has relied on Microsoft tools and technologies to develop solutions for YMCAs. DAXKO will expand its relationship with Microsoft – offering solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM – to provide YMCAs of all sizes with a truly world-class partnership.
