DAXKO Continues Strong Growth Trend and Replaces Oracle at the YMCA of Greater Hartford

Birmingham, Ala – DAXKO announced today a new agreement with the YMCA of Greater Hartford to provide membership, program, financial development, and financial processing services through its DAXKO Operations software. The YMCA will replace its legacy Oracle system with DAXKO Operations this summer. The YMCA of Greater Hartford cited a long term partnership, ease of adoption, and access to information as primary drivers in their decision.
“We were interested in a system that would be easy for our staff to adopt and optimize,” said Hartford MIS Director Gina Gaipa. “But we also needed a system that had powerful reporting capabilities to help us make critical decisions. Our current Oracle system is very difficult to use and costly to maintain. After a comprehensive evaluation, DAXKO surfaced as the strongest provider of both software and services for our YMCA.”

In addition to the unique perspective the Hartford team brings, the YMCA brings to DAXKO the data of more than 110,000 constituents participating in activities at one of the association’s ten locations. Collectively, DAXKO YMCAs represent the largest repository of YMCA data in the country. With a growing list of Metro and Urban-sized YMCAs, including the Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA (VA) and YMCA of Tacoma and Pierce County (WA), the data can be used in even more meaningful ways to help identify trends in the YMCA Movement as a whole.
