DAXKO Releases Second Round of Accounting ST Enhancements

6/7/2007

This week, DAXKO released its second round of enhancements to Accounting ST, the fund-based accounting and budgeting solution formerly known as Y-Vision®.   DAXKO is the only company to obtain the rights to modify the Y-Vision® source code from YMCA of the USA.  The June release includes auto-recalculation of wage and revenue-related budget items, the ability to begin forecasting when the budget is still open, correct distribution of updated budget amounts, and the option to print all pending journal entries.  Several maintenance issues were also addressed in the release.

After acquiring Y-Vision® from YMCA of the USA in 2006, DAXKO released the first enhancements to the product in five years to its 145 Accounting ST customers.  The first release included the ability to save journal entries and inter-fund transfers for review before posting, the option to suppress active or inactive vendors in accounts payable reports, and the elimination of small print on checks.  DAXKO has already begun development of a new web-based fund accounting and budgeting application, slated for release in 2008.
